Chinh Diep was born in Nha Trang, Vietnam. Chinh graduated from Le
Quy Don Highschool in 1974 and attended Dalat University. He has been
working in the seafood industry for over 10 years as a broker. Chinh
has been a resident of Prince Rupert for over twenty-five years. He is
former President of the Prince Rupert Vietnamese Canadian Association.
Don Scott was born in Prince Rupert and graduated from Prince Rupert
Secondary. Don attained a Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of
British Columbia and earned his designation as Chartered Accountant in
1971. Don has also been working in the seafood industry for over 10
years, working at Royal Fish, BC Packers, and Canadian Fish Atlin
Plant. He is a former partner of Scott, Vohora & Company, and a
director of Romark Developments Inc., a local property developer. Don
is former Mayor of Prince Rupert and is currently on the federal panel
for reviewing the offshore oil and gas moratorium. He has a
distinguished record of public service. He has served on numerous City
and fraternal committees.
